  • Access to pension annual benefit statements

    Update: 8th October 2024

Over the weekend EQ published approx. 700 Pension Saving Statements (PSS). EQ are continuing to prioritise publishing PSS this week.

Online sessions on tax for those who receive a PSS will be held in later this month and in November. Details of these sessions will be shared by email.

SSCL and EQ are continuing work to publish missing Annual Benefit Statements (ABS) and correct Remediable Service Statements (RSS) with known inaccuracies this week, with over 2,000 due to be published by the end of this week. The remainder are the most complex cases or require data from 3rd parties – we will continue to work on these until resolved, keeping those impacted updated.

We are advised that SSCL have sent new registration details to officers experiencing unacceptable delays in gaining access to the EQ portal, or resetting their passwords. It is under review to see if there are more details to be sent.

Welcome to the McCloud Remedy site for Metropolitan Police Service officers

A big change happened to MPS pensions on 1st October 2023. It’s called the McCloud Remedy, it affects all public sector pension schemes and it could make a big difference to your pension payments and future retirement plans.

  • If you are police staff go to MyCSP to find out more.
  • What is the McCloud Remedy?

It’s a Court of Appeal ruling that removes ‘age discrimination’ from previous pension activity and ensures fairness for all. It doesn’t apply to all serving or retired police officers so do check to see if you are ‘in scope’ for the Remedy.
